We have been holding summertime ice cream socials for as long as anyone can remember, making homemade ice cream (yes, home made- 70 gallons every time!) and serving delicious homemade sloppy joes, hot dogs, homemade deserts, and other side dishes. In June, we add to the fellowship and fun of the social with a free bluegrass and gospel music show in the sanctuary. We’ve had No Tools Loaned, the Haddix Family, and this year we will have Steve Bonafel and the One Iota Band. Give this old time tradition and music a try, you will not be disappointed! Socials are held from 4-7 PM, or until we run out of food and ice cream.
